I explored various styles of yoga following the birth of my first baby boy in 2008. I have found peace and balance through the practice of both Hatha yoga and meditation and the more physically demanding Ashtanga yoga. Trying never to take life too seriously, I bring humour and kindness in classes, workshops and at one to one sessions.
I am passionate about women’s health and specifically the journey into motherhood, whether for the first or seventh time, and I specialize in pregnancy and postnatal massage, focusing on relaxation and preparation.
I also offer massage during labour and home visits in the days and weeks following birth in order to help rejuvenate and relax new mothers in their own space where their babies are near by. I offer massage for new dads on consultation and is a fully qualified breastfeeding peer support advisor.
I offer holistic therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage to everyone, see the Mummy Massage page for more information and prices.
Having trained in pregnancy, postnatal yoga and birth preparation, I offer regular workshops incorporating both yoga and massage.
As well as teaching adults, I run workshops and regular classes in universities, schools and nurseries around Leeds and the north of England.
After returning to work following my maternity leave I am now taking bookings for 2014.
